Welcome to Simplified Living YYC- I am so glad you are here! My name is Reta Vaccaro, and my vision is to provide helpful information for those looking to step into their ideal living situation in Calgary and the surrounding areas. The houses we live in play an enormous role in shaping our lives, and with more and more people looking for cost-effective living solutions, I knew I had to find a way to share more of what people in Calgary were looking for.

I moved to this beautiful city in 1980, fresh out of college. I was drawn by the breathtaking mountains and the allure of the incredible outdoor lifestyle we are so lucky to enjoy here. One memorable spring break visit to the area stole my heart, and I knew that Calgary would be my home. This incredible city became the perfect backdrop to raise a family and enjoy all the outdoor activities that I love.

My professional journey kicked off in corporate/commercial banking. As life unfolded, so did my career, leading me to diverse experiences in for-profit and non-profit organizations in downtown Calgary. The last two decades have been dedicated to leadership roles, all centered around a common theme: providing exemplary customer service.

With Alberta offering boundless opportunities, not just for myself but for my family, it became clear that my passion for this incredible city and the beautiful homes and neighbourhoods within it could seamlessly merge with my desire to assist people in their real estate endeavors. This realization prompted a significant career shift, and now, I'm here to combine my love for home design and helping others find their perfect fit in this beautiful city we call home.
